Representing Washington State University in 2019, myself and four colleagues in the Carson College of Business took home third place in the annual CFA Institute Stock Research Challenge - the University's highest placement in over a decade.
Using dupont and monte carlo analysis in R, we recommended a 'Sell' rating; the only team to do so. We were also the only team to cite the COVID-19 pandemic as a potential threat to market valuations.
